Waiter.com will create a special web interface just for your company where employees will be able to go in and order their own customized individual meals. We will work with you to pre-select restaurant choices that are most appropriate for your group and per person budget. Users will be able to pre-order several days in advance and on the day of delivery. Then about 2 hours before the desired delivery time, the group order will automatically check-out and be scheduled with a driver. Each item will be labeled with the person’s name and a brief description. Weekly and daily email reminders can be activated to make it easier for people to order in advance.

Check your company intranet or with your administrator for a link to your company’s Virtual Cafe / Custom Cafe page. You can sign up* with your company email address from there. Don’t worry, the process is quick and you only need to do it once. Remember to check your email for a confirmation after you fill out the sign-up form.

When you have an account, you’ll be able to track your orders, mark your favorites, specify your preferences, and earn WaiterPoints towards free food or merchandise. You’ll also need an account to use the mobile app.

*We still recommend registering for an account even if your company does not require you to log in to order a meal. You will have added features and can save your personal preferences & settings, as well as the ability to use the mobile app to order on the go.

Go to Waiter.com and log in*, or click on the order link in the reminder email if you’ve opted to receive them. (You can receive email or text notifications depending on your account notification settings.) Choose the meal period you’d like to make food selections for and add items from any restaurant you see for that meal. You can even pre-order all of your meals for that week!

When using your company’s Virtual Cafe / Custom Cafe meal service, you never need to check out! All orders get processed automatically at the cutoff time for each meal period. All you need to do is make your selections before the cutoff time and receive your food when it’s delivered.

If you are logged in, you can see your selected items in a separate list for each meal period on the ordering page. You may also receive an email or text confirmation, depending on your account notification settings.

If you are not logged in and your company allows you to select items without being logged in, you will see all items that have been selected for this meal service, which includes items that may have been added by your co-workers. To know which items are yours, enter your name in the “Ordered For” field when you are making the item selection and it will show up next to each selected item. This is good practice as we will also label your food when it is delivered to make it easy to find.

You can choose items from a pre-determined selection of restaurants and snacks for your meal service. We work hard to make sure we introduce new restaurants so you get a large variety, but still repeat favorites.
