Salmon Galore

Where fish is concerned, salmon is an excellent choice. It’s packed with iron, zinc, and selenium, which helps to keep your thyroid working properly and boosts your immune system. Plus, it acts as an antioxidant for your body, and can help to destroy free radicals in your system. A healthy balance of salmon in your weekly diet can support keeping your body at optimal performance. To get your fill in sushi form, turn to Akane Japanese Cuisine. This Santa Clara sushi restaurant serves up totally tasty bites of all your Japanese favorites. The next time you order, try this combination:

  • Ikura: this option of fresh salmon roe offers more omega-3’s than any other food
  • Fresh Sake Sashimi: slices of fresh salmon not only offer a high source of protein and omega-3s, but vitamin D as well
  • Edamame: the classic Japanese appetizer of steamed soybeans adds an extra dose of protein
  • Philly Roll: the smoked salmon, cream cheese and avocado in this roll makes it a slightly more decadent item (consider splitting this roll with someone, or saving some for a snack later).

Lots of Veggies

One of the benefits that comes with ordering sushi is that there are plenty of veggie-rich options. This makes it easy to get your daily requirement of vegetables, and fill up on the vitamins and minerals that keep your body at its best while supporting your immune system to help stave off illnesses. For a veggie filled sushi meal, Truya Sushi has some yummy options that will keep your taste buds guessing. To get something that’s tantalizing and satisfying, try this combination:

  • Vegetable Sukiyaki: this hearty stew is a popular Japanese option, with the broth bringing another immunity boosting element to meal.
  • Hiyashi Wakame: a seaweed salad is always a fantastic option, adding a boost of iron, calcium, and vitamin k to your meal.
  • Tempura Appetizer: lean protein in the form of shrimp and veggies make this lightly fried option this meal’s indulgent item, but it’s absolutely delectable.

Delectable Avocado

One of our favorite ways to order Santa Clara sushi delivery is to find every dish that includes avocado and add it to our order. And that usually means a lot of specialty rolls to fill up on! Not only is avocado a creamy, flavorful way to bring flair your meal, it’s filled with great nutrients. Packed with heart healthy fats and potassium to help control your blood pressure, avocados are also rich in lutein, which is great for your eyesight. To create a lunch or dinner menu that features tons of avocado, check out what Kiku Sushi has to offer. Then select these sweet treats to fill up on:

  • Art’s Work Roll: the chicken teriyaki, cucumber, and avocado in this roll offer a great balance of tanginess and creamy goodness.
  • Dragon Roll: between the crab, BBQ unagi, cucumber, and avocado, this roll is packed with both protein and flavor.
  • Kiku of Cupertino Roll: all of the tuna, tobiko, avocado, and salmon in this roll mean it’s a protein powerhouse that will keep you satisfied and energized for the rest of your day.
