Taxi's History |
Operations and Procedures
Using some of the successful operational techniques proven by the fast food industry, Taxi's has been able to standardize its operation and maintain quality control. The semi-full service restaurant allows customers to order at the counter as they enter the store, help themselves to their drinks, and be seated at a table to wait for their food to be delivered. This eliminates the need for waitresses and tipping and allows us to turn our tables in less than half the time of a conventional restaurant. All meals are cooked-to-order and take between 7 and 12 minutes to prepare, even during peak hours.
As with any successful business, management's attention to detail in operating the stores is crucial. With the aid of numerous experts in the field, Taxi's Hamburgers Inc. has developed policy and procedure manuals, including food specifications, safe food handling, job descriptions, safety and security, ordering procedure, cleaning procedures, employee policies, procedures and training.
